Cumbria to host London event

Published: 2010-02-15 10:16:37

Law firm Martineau is hosting an evening in London, at which Cumbria's business leaders will discuss development opportunities in the county with potential investors.

The last conference, due to be held in November 2009, had to be postponed due to the terrible floods Cumbria suffered around that time.

Despite this flooding, Cumbria has continued to be very much "open for business". If you'd like to hear more about the prospects on offer, download the invitation here.

The event will cover:

• Britain’s Energy Coast - renewables and nuclear
• £1.4 billion regeneration funding
• 32 major and long-term projects
• Investor and developer opportunities
• Leisure development
• Rural business

RSVP using the slip on the invitation, or by emailing Martineau here.
